For Maths this morning we played Rocket Race. We played against a partner and the aim of the game was to be the first to color in the rocket. We rolled three dice, added up the score and colored in the number on our rocket. This game helped us use our adding strategies. For example Daniel rolled 6,4 and 6. He then doubled the 6 to make 12 and added on the 4 to make 16. We realised some numbers were hard to get. 18 was difficult. Why?
